Overview

In 2017, I moved to Chicago to take a job at Avanade. Originally a joint venture between Accenture and Microsoft, Avanade's mission was to bridge the models of the two companies to provide effective and innovative solutions for large corporate clients around the globe.

I began at Avanade as a Front-End Developer, building custom web solutions for clients, sometimes on platforms like Sharepoint or Dynamics 365, other times in more bespoke contexts.

After about 6 months, I transitioned into a UX Design role, where I worked as a UX Generalist responsible for everything from various forms of user research, to wireframing/prototyping, user testing, and even visual design depending on the needs of the project / client.

My primary strength developed as my ability to stay involved and integrated into projects from end-to-end, collaborating with developers along the way and jumping in to help solve any problem that came up along the way, technical or otherwise.
